Welcome to the PITE. We pride ourselves on being one of the top Institute for promoting and strengthening the Teacher Education and Training in Sindh. PITE is serving as an arm of the Apex Body for The Teacher Education (both Pre Service and In-service) in the province of Sindh having strong linkages with local and international organizations for ensuring the quality services to the community of the teachers and school managers so that better educational outcomes may be achieved at the gross roots.

Vision

According to the TED Policy 2009, new Role of PITE Sindh is that: ?PITE shall serve as the professional arm of the Apex Body (called Teacher Education Development Authority ? TEDA) and would be responsible for initial teacher education and in-service training of teachers?.
Mission

Putting all hands together and streamlining all efforts to give teacher education a new outlook having activity based and practical oriented work that all lead towards changing the mindset of all present and future teachers in Sindh province that ultimately lead towards a big paradigm shift from passive learning to active learning at school level.
